IDBI bank IFSC Code is a unique alphanumeric code of 11 characters. The first four characters give the name of the bank. The fifth character is always a zero. The last six characters are characters which give the branch details.
IFSC code is different for every branch and is issued and maintained by Reserve Bank of India (RBI). RBI issues IFSC code to those bank branches which participate in electronic money transfer.

You can search for IFSC code online on Paisabazaar.com easily. We have a tool—“IFSC code locator” under our tools section that gives the IFSC of the branch selected. You need to select the bank, state, city and branch name to get the IFSC code. This tool will also give you the complete address of that particular branch.
It will also give you the MICR (magnetic ink character recognition code). It is a unique nine digit code. It is used my banking system to ease the process of clearance of cheques and other documents.
